Deck the Halls: Creating Festive Magic at Killeen Castle

The festive season officially bloomed for us on November 30th, as we welcomed a wonderful group of attendees to our annual Wreath Class, held in the stunning grounds of the Killeen Castle Hotel!

Our festive wreath class is always incredibly popular and constantly in demand, and it's truly one of the highlights of our year. It is a joy for me to share the skills, techniques, and forestry knowledge I've built up over the years with those eager to craft a bespoke, beautiful welcome for their front door.

A Morning of Festive Creation

There is nothing quite like spending a few hours immersed in gorgeous natural materials, and the setting at Killeen Castle made the experience even more magical. It was an absolute delight to teach and inspire such a creative group.

Every single participant created a beautiful wreath, each one uniquely different! It's always fascinating to see how individuals interpret the task-from the ribbons they select to the way they layer and arrange the different natural elements. The variety in design and personal touches always makes the results so unique and special. We particularly loved seeing groups attending together for a festive morning of creativity and good company!

The First Step to Christmas Decoration

Now that the classes are finished, we hope everyone is proudly displaying their creations on their front doors, serving as the beautiful first step in their Christmas decoration journey.
